“We are a group of Honduran young progressives and Central American allies in the Americas coming together to build long term solidarity beyond charity for Honduras in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hurricane Eta and Iota. In building solidarity long term with the Honduran people and social movements we hope to put money and resources directly in the hands of those communities most affected by these tragic catastrophes and to social movement organizations that have staunchly defended Honduran democracy after the US-backed 2009 coup d'etat that began the political, constitutional and societal destruction of the country. We are committed to fighting for Honduran democracy and liberation and to support the resistance movement seeking to rebuild and refound the country.”
